Spider in the Snow

First poster in a m i n u t e! Some people said that this poster was super busy and whether they meant that as a positive or negative, I’m glad because that’s what I wanted this to be. The song in question here, “Spider in the Snow” is an emotionally potent song and not in a way that’s often covered in songs of that nature. It’s a song that, like many LCD Soundsystem songs do, grows more and more poignant the older you get. This song didn’t do a whole lot for me when I first heard it in high school, it started to click with me a few years ago, and now as a senior undergrad student, this song hits hard. Feelings of being stuck, being left behind by people or having to leave them behind, striving for a change and by the time you get that, all you want is to feel stable. It’s stuff that feels more and more *real* the older I get and I only predict the song becoming more potent years from now. And so I felt it was right to use pictures from online that could be termed as liminal as well as ones that were pulled from family archives.
